I seek the protection of Allah from the accursed Shayṭān. Allah, there is no god worthy of worship but He, the Ever Living, The Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him Alone belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except with His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursī extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Magnificent.
In the name of Allah, the All-Merciful, the Very Merciful. Say, He is Allah, the One, the Self-Sufficient Master, Who has not given birth and was not born, and to Whom no one is equal. (112) In the name of Allah, the All-Merciful, the Very Merciful. Say, I seek protection of the Lord of the daybreak, from the evil of what He has created, and from the evil of the darkening night when it settles, and from the evil of the blowers in knots, and from the evil of the envier when he envies. (113) In the name of Allah, the All-Merciful, the Very Merciful. Say, I seek the protection of the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the whisperer who withdraws, who whispers in the hearts of mankind, whether they be Jinn or people. Sayyid al-Istighfar: The Best Way of Seeking Forgiveness
O Allah, You are my Lord. There is no god worthy of worship except You. You have created me, and I am Your slave, and I am under Your covenant and pledge (to fulfil it) to the best of my ability. I seek Your protection from the evil that I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon me, and I admit my sins. Forgive me, for none forgives sins but You.
O Allah, I seek Your protection from anxiety and grief. I seek Your protection from inability and laziness. I seek Your protection from cowardice and miserliness, and I seek Your protection from being overcome by debt and being overpowered by men.
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the next. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religion, in my worldly affairs, in my family and in my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and calm my fears. O Allah, guard me from in front of me and behind me, from my right, and from my left, and from above me. O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Lord and Sovereign of everything; I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship but You. I seek Your protection from the evil of my own self, from the evil of Shayṭān and from the evil of polytheism to which he calls, and from inflicting evil on myself, or bringing it upon a Muslim.
O The Ever-Living, The Sustainer of all. ; I seek assistance through Your mercy. Rectify all of my affairs and do not entrust me to myself in the blink of an eye.
O Allah, all the favors that I or anyone from Your creation has received in the morning, are from You Alone. You have no partner. To You Alone belong all praise and all thanks.
We have entered the morning and at this very time the whole kingdom belongs to Allah. All praise is due to Allah. There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, the One; He has no partner with Him. I seek Your protection from the evil that is in it and from the evil that follows it.
O Allah, honour and have mercy upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You have honoured and had mercy upon Ibrāhīm and the family of Ibrāhīm. Last Two Ayahs of Surah al-Baqarah: Will Suffice You
I seek the protection of Allah from the accursed Shayṭān. The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah, His angels, His books and His messengers, [saying], “We make no distinction between any of His Messengers.” And they say, “We hear and we obey. We seek Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the final destination.” Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. “Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.” (2:285-6)
In Your Name my Lord, I lie down, and in Your Name, I rise. If You take my soul away then have mercy upon it, and if You return my soul then protect it with what you protect Your righteous servants with.
O Allah, honour and have mercy upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You have honoured and had mercy upon Ibrāhīm and the family of Ibrāhīm. Indeed, You are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You have blessed Ibrāhīm and the family of Ibrāhīm. Indeed, You are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious.
O Allah, I seek Your protection from misguiding others or being misguided; from erring or others causing me to err; from oppressing others or being oppressed; and from acting ignorantly or others acting ignorantly towards me.
O Allah, I ask You for the best entrance and the best exit. In the Name of Allah we enter, in the Name of Allah we leave, and in Allah our Lord do we trust
I also bear witness that there is no god but Allah. He is Alone and He has no partner whatsoever, and that Muhammad ﷺ is His servant and His Messenger. I am satisfied with Allah as my Lord, with Muhammad as my Messenger, and with Islam as my religion.
O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer, grant Muhammad the status (a unique lofty status in Paradise) and pre-eminence, and resurrect him to the praiseworthy station that You have promised him.
O Allah, place light in my heart, light in my sight and light in my hearing. Place light on my right and place light on my left. Place light above me and place light beneath me. Place light in front of me, place light behind me and grant me light.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and sadness, and from weakness and laziness, and from cowardice and stinginess, and from the burden of debt, and from the oppression of men
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Fire and the punishment of the Fire, and from the trial of the grave and the punishment of the grave, and from the evil of the trial of the Antichrist, and the punishment of the Antichrist
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of the Antichrist, and I seek refuge in You from the trial of life and death
Allah is the Greatest. Allah is the Greatest. Allah is the Greatest. How perfect is the One Who has given us control over this; we could not have done it by ourselves. Truly it is to our Lord that we are returning. O Allah, we ask You for piety, taqwā and deeds which You will be pleased with on this journey of ours. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and let us cover its distance swiftly. O Allah, You are our Companion on the journey and the One in Whose care we leave our family. O Allah, I seek Your protection from the difficulties of the journey, from distressing scenes, and from an ill-fated outcome with my wealth and family.
O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and all that they shade, Lord of the seven earths and all that they carry, Lord of the devils and all that they lead astray, Lord of the winds and all that they scatter, I ask You for the good of this town, the good of its people, and whatever good is in it; and I seek Your protection from the evil of this town, the evil of its people, and whatever evil is in it.
O Earth, your Lord and my Lord is Allah. I seek refuge in Allah from the evil (of your nights) and those evils created in you and the evil of that which crawls on you. I seek protection in Allah from the lions, black things, snakes, scorpions, the inhabitants of the land, parents and offspring alike.
O Allah, all praise is for You Alone — You have clothed me with it. I ask You for its good and the good of that for which it was made; and I seek Your protection from its evil and the evil of that for which it was made.
To be Said to Someone Wearing New Clothes
تُبْلِيْ وَيُخْلِفُ اللّٰهُ تَعَالَىٰ.
May you wear it out and may Allah replace it (with another).
Allah be praised with an abundant beautiful blessed praise, a never-ending praise, a praise which we will never bid farewell to and an indispensable praise, our Lord.
All praise is for Allah who feeds and is not fed. He favoured us, and thus guided us, blessed us with food and drink, and bestowed upon us every favour. All praise is for Allah, a praise which we will never bid farewell to, a never-ending praise, an accepted praise and an indispensable praise. All praise is for Allah who provided food and drink; clothed us, guided us from error, removed our blindness and favoured us greatly over many of His creations. All praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds
Dua For Rain
When it Rains
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَّافِعًا
O Allah, make it a beneficial rain.
Dua After Rain
مُطِرنَا بِفَضلِ اللهِ وَرَحمَتِهِ
We have been given rain thanks to the Grace and Mercy of Allah.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, the All-Merciful, the Compassionate, Owner of the Day of Judgment. There is no god but Allah; He does as He wishes. O Allah, You are Allah and there is no god but You, the Infinitely Rich, and we are poor. Send down the rain and make what You have sent down strength for us, and provision for a time. I bear witness that Allah is over all things All-Powerful, and I am the servant of Allah and His Messenger.
O Allah, I ask You for the good in her and the good that You have created in her, and I seek Your protection from her evil and the evil that You have created in her.
There is no god worthy of worship but Allah: The One, The All-Dominant; Lord of the heavens, the earth and whatever is between them; The Mighty, The Most Forgiving.
There is no god worthy of worship but Allah. He is Alone and He has no partner whatsoever. To Him Alone belong all sovereignty and all praise. He is over all things All-Powerful. All praise be to Allah and Allah is free from imperfection. There is no god but Allah. Allah is the Greatest. There is no power (in averting evil) or strength (in attaining good) except through Allah. O Allah, forgive me
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the day and night there are signs for people of reason. (3:190) (They are) those who remember Allah while standing, sitting, and lying on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth (and pray), “Our Lord! You have not created (all of) this without purpose. Glory be to You! Protect us from the torment of the Fire. (3:191) Our Lord! Indeed, those You commit to the Fire will be (completely) disgraced! And the wrongdoers will have no helpers. (3:192) Our Lord! We have heard the caller to (true) belief, (proclaiming,) ‘Believe in your Lord (alone),’ so we believed. Our Lord! Forgive our sins, absolve us of our misdeeds, and allow us ˹each˺ to die as one of the virtuous. (3:193) Our Lord! Grant us what You have promised us through Your messengers and do not put us to shame on Judgment Day—for certainly You never fail in Your promise.” (3:194) So their Lord responded to them: “I will never deny any of you—male or female—the reward of your deeds. Both are equal in reward. Those who migrated or were expelled from their homes, and were persecuted for My sake and fought and (some) were martyred—I will certainly forgive their sins and admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow, as a reward from Allah. And with Allah is the finest reward!” (3:195) Do not be deceived by the prosperity of the disbelievers throughout the land. (3:196) It is only a brief enjoyment. Then Hell will be their home—what an evil place to rest! (3:197) But those who are mindful of their Lord will be in Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there forever—as an accommodation from Allah. And what is with Allah is best for the virtuous. (3:198) Indeed, there are some among the People of the Book who truly believe in Allah and what has been revealed to you and what was revealed to them. They humble themselves before Allah—never trading Allah’s revelations for a fleeting gain. Their reward is with their Lord. Surely Allah is swift in reckoning. (3:199) O believers! Patiently endure, persevere, stand on guard, and be mindful of Allah, so you may be successful. (3:200)
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. He is Alone and He has no partner whatsoever. And I bear witness that Muhammad ﷺ is His slave and His Messenger. O Allah, make me amongst the repentant, and make me amongst those who purify themselves.
You are free from imperfection, O Allah, and all praise is to You. I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance
In the name of Allah, the All-Merciful, the Very Merciful. All praises and thanks are for Allah, the Lord of all the worlds, The All-Merciful, The Very Merciful, Master of the Day of Judgement. You Alone we worship, You Alone we ask for help. Guide us on the Straight Path, the path of those whom You have favored, not of those who incur (Your) anger nor of those who have gone astray.
Ayat al-Kursi: The Greatest Protection From Evil Jinn
I seek protection in the perfect words of Allah – which neither the upright nor the corrupt may overcome – from the evil of what He created, of what He brought into existence, and of what He scattered, from the evil of what descends from the heavens, and of what rises up to them, from the evil of what He scattered in the earth and of what emerges from it, from the evil trials of night and day, and from the evil of every night visitor, except the night visitor who comes with good, O Merciful One
I seek the protection of Allah the Supreme, than whom there is nothing greater. And I seek protection in the perfect words of Allah which no man – virtuous or evil – can even transcend; and I seek the protection of all of The Most Beautiful Names of Allah – the ones I know and the ones I do not know – from the evil of everything He created, brought into existence and spread over the earth
There is none worthy of worship except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, there is none worthy of worship except for Allah, alone, there is none worthy of worship except for Allah, alone, without any partner, there is none worthy of worship except for Allah, to Him belongs all that exists, and to Him is all praise, there is none worthy of worship except for Allah, there is no power in averting evil, or strength in attaining good except through Allah.
O Allah, forgive him and raise his station among those who are guided. Take care of his future generations in his place. Forgive us and him, Lord of the Worlds, and expand his grave for him and illuminate it for him.
O Allah, all praise is due to You. You have made Ramadan obligatory upon us, and You have brought it to us, and You have helped us to fast and pray during it
O Allah, I ask You to forgive my parents, have mercy on them, pardon them, overlook their faults, admit them to Paradise, and protect them from the punishment of the grave and the fire.

O Allah, I am Your slave and the son of Your male slave and the son of Your female slave. My forehead is in Your Hand. I am subject to Your judgment and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You – by every name that is Yours, by which You have named Yourself, or taught any one of Your creation, or revealed in Your Book, or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You – to make the Qur’ān the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my grief and the reliever of my anxiety.
There is no god but Allah, the Supreme, The Forbearing. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, Lord of the Noble Throne.
